While it doesn’t reinvent the wheels of its genre, Pugstorm’s Core Keeper emerges confidently out of early access and I’m looking forward to revisiting it over and over again in the coming years.
Ferocious bosses and cutthroat invaders lie at the heart of Keeper’s Toll and its perilous lands. All of the bosses, mini bosses, and invaders you will encounter feature their own unique battle mechanics and twists on the core gameplay.
Spirit Merchant (technically traded). Each of these marks the exact location of an outer biome boss spawn. Each scanner recipe uses a resource unique to the boss's biome. Either found on the ground or as a mob drop.
Copper can be found throughout the Dirt Biome, and getting a full set of Copper Armor is enough to give yourself a chance against fighting Glurch. However, you can also progress to Tin and Iron before you even take on your first boss if you want to.
can support up to eight players in a single cave system at once with a pretty straightforward multiplayer system. Co-op is em linha only for now, but sharing your game ID is easy enough to invite visitors to drop by.
Still being early access, there isn’t much of a tutorial, or, like, any tutorial at all, so be on the lookout for little visual cues to learn how to interact with things. Different icons will become highlighted and let you know how to open various other menus, so if you’re trying to do something and not having much success, just take a second to see if the game is desperately trying to tell you to press E instead of angrily clicking away.
Scarab armor set that buffs thorns damage and adds it to melee and ranged. Which is stronger than it sounds.
While the likes of Terraria and Valheim continue to hog headlines, Core Keeper offers strong competition. Its compelling gameplay, excellent art style, and extensive range of content make it worth diving in.

Off-Hand Ability: Equipped off-hand items (such as Shields) will have a special ability that can be activated by pressing this button. Some items have a cooldown which is Core Keeper Gameplay indicated by the bar below the icon.
After your payment has been processed, the content will be downloaded to the applicable system linked to your Nintendo Account. This system must be updated to the latest system software and connected to the Net with automatic downloads enabled, and it must have enough storage to complete the download.
Eggs can be found as loot from crates. They are relatively rare, making them a special find when knocked out of dungeon boxes.
You can't really make these items until you get to the mid-game, either, so take advantage of the Core's Waypoint in the early game and build your base near it!
